Dr. Jeremiah J. Johnston is a New Testament scholar, pastor, author, and apologist who serves as President and Founder of Christian Thinkers Society, a ministry dedicated to equipping believers to love God with both heart and mind. He also serves as Pastor of Apologetics and Cultural Engagement at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, and Senior Fellow of Christian Origins at Dallas Baptist University. Johnston is an elected member of the Studiorum Novi Testamenti Societas (SNTS), an international body of leading New Testament scholars, and completed his doctoral residency at Oxford in collaboration with the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies. His scholarly work on the historical Jesus, the resurrection, and Christian origins has appeared with Oxford University Press, Brill, Bloomsbury T&T Clark, and Mohr Siebeck, and he is a frequent media voice on Fox News, CBS, and other outlets.
