Preston Perry
About
Preston Perry is a spoken-word poet, performance artist, teacher, evangelist, and apologist from the South Side of Chicago. Before coming to Christ, Perry was involved in street life, but after his conversion he channeled his gift for words into ministry. His writing and teaching have been featured on The Gospel Coalition, Desiring God, and the Poets in Autumn Tour. In 2017, he founded Bold TV and Bold Apparel as avenues to engage the public in theological discourse. He created the YouTube channel Apologetics with Preston Perry and co-hosts the popular podcast With the Perrys with his wife, Jackie Hill Perry. His debut book, How to Tell the Truth, won the ECPA 2025 Christian Book Award for Best New Author. He and his family live in Atlanta, Georgia.
