Josh Howerton is the Senior Pastor of Lakepointe Church, a multisite and multilingual church with six campuses across Dallas, Texas. A third-generation pastor, Josh experienced a transformative encounter with Christ at age 16 that solidified his calling. He holds a degree in Biblical Studies from Union University and attended Southern Seminary. Before joining Lakepointe, he served for ten years as pastor of The Bridge Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Josh is passionate about making disciples, developing leaders, and planting life-giving churches through the Strategic Launch Network, Lakepointe's church planting network which has planted more than 60 churches in predominantly secular cities across the United States. He also hosts the Live Free podcast, tackling faith, culture, and biblical clarity on contemporary issues.
